Prof Ho leads and contributes to multiple professional societies and corporate medical board.  A proven clinician innovator who co-founded two other medical device start-ups, Prof Ho is the clinical lead responsible for shaping overall clinical strategy and development.

A/Prof Huang Zhi Wei of Department of Biomedical Engineering in National University of Singapore is an expert in bio-photonics, bio-imaging, bio-spectroscopy and has an illustrious history of technology creation. Being the engineering brain who overcame the challenge of delivering Raman Spectroscopy technology into the human body, A/P Huang will drive the product development of Endofotonics’ IMDX™ system.

Mr Sim Giok Lak (Chairman)

Mr. Sim Giok Lak is the Founder and Group MD and Chairman of Zicom Group Limited, and Australian listed company. Mr. Sim is also the Chairman of various medtech startups including Biobot Surgical Pte Ltd, Curiox Biosystems Pte Ltd and Histoindex Pte Ltd. Mr. Sim has considerable experience in public accounting, corporate development, financial and industrial management as well as international trade. He was a recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award (Industrial Products) in 2008 and was a member of the Entrepreneurship Review Committee Singapore 2013. Mr Sim is a Director of SPRING, Singapore, and a member of the Strategic Advisory Panel of the Diagnostic Development Hub.

Prof Lui Pao Chuen

Prof Lui has a long career in the Ministry of Defence with 42 years of service and 22 years as the first Chief Defence Scientist. Prof Lui is a well respected systems engineer with numerous awards and accolades to his name. Upon his retirement Prof Lui continues to contribute to Singapore as adviser to six ministries and government agencies and universities, serving on the board of companies and teaching classes at the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University.

Mr Jen Kwong Hwa

Mr Jen Kwong Hwa was the Managing director of Micron Semiconductors in Singapore and an engineer by training. He has extensive experience in the technology management and business operations and is currently involved in start-up investment and advisory. Mr Jen is an active contributor and helped shape national strategic initiatives through his board and  membership in various statutory boards like Energy Market Authority, Jurong Town Council, Economic Strategy Committee and Ascendas.

Mr Sim Kok Hwee

Mr Sim Kok Hwee is the Group Executive Director of Zicom Group Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Zicom MedTacc Pte Ltd, a company focusing on investments and acceration of early stage biomed companies. His directorships in other biomedical sciences companies include Biobot Surgical Pte Ltd, Histoindex Pte Ltd, and Curiox Biosystems Pte Ltd. Mr. Sim graduated with a Bachelor in Industrial and Operations Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Masters in Financial Engineering from Columbia University, New York.

Mr Peter Cheng

Mr Peter Cheng is the Chief Technology Officer of Biobot Surgical Pte Ltd and Zicom Medtacc Pte Ltd. He is also a director in Zicom Medtacc Pte Ltd, a company focusing on investments and acceleration of early stage medical technologies companies. It is also supported by SPRING Singapore. Biobot Surgical Pte Ltd is a spinoff from SingHealth and NTU that has developed a robotic platform for performing transperineal prostate biopsy. Mr. Cheng graduated with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Nanyang Technological Institute and bring along more than 25 years of R&D & management experience over a broad spectrum of industries; from digital storage to domestic appliances to wind energy.
