Mr. Peter Cheng is the CEO and executive board member of Endofotonics. Prior to joining Endofotonics, Mr. Peter Cheng was the CTO of Biobot Surgical, a prostate biopsy robotic platform company, where he has successfully brought the product to market after obtaining FDA, CE, and TGA clearance. He was the CTO of ZIG Ventures Ltd.
Mr. Cheng is experienced in the management of Product Research & Development as well as Product Commercialization in a wide range of industries such as Magnetic & Optical Storage, Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics & Domestic Appliances, Wind Energy, Desalination & Waste Water Treatment. He was the VP of New Product Division for Hyflux Ltd where he drove the commercialization of ultra-filtration membrane technology. He was the former MD of Vestas Technology Singapore and as VP of Open Innovation, managed the Vestas Global Open Innovation programme. He established the R&D Innovation Centre for Philips Consumer Lifestyle in Suzhou, China.
He had served on the Economic Strategic Sub-Committee on "Growing Knowledge Capital", initiated by the Ministry of Finance, Singapore. He also served on the Scientific Advisory Board, Energy Research Institute at Nanyang Technology University Singapore.
Dr. Beng Teck Liang has been CEO and Executive Director of Singapore Medical Group since 2013. He was the Chief Medical Officer of Novahealth. He previously led multi-billion-dollar businesses and large teams in the information technology and healthcare sectors across Asia Pacific and Japan over the last decade as a senior manager in multinational corporations like Hewlett Packard (HP) and General Electric (GE).
Dr. Beng started his professional career as a Medical Officer with the Singapore Ministry of Health after graduating from the University of Manchester Medical School in the United Kingdom. He also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.

Mr. Sim Giok Lak is the Founder and Group Chairman of Zicom Group Ltd, an Australian listed company, and ZIG Ventures Ltd and its subsidiaries. He is also the Chairman of various medical device startups including Biobot Surgical Pte Ltd, Curiox Biosystems Pte Ltd and Histoindex Pte Ltd. He is a member of the Strategic Advisory Panel to Diagnostic Development Hub and Singapore National Eye Center Incubation Board. He was a member of the subcommittee on Future Corporate Capabilities and Innovation (Startups).
Mr. Sim is experienced in public accounting, corporate development, financial and industrial management as well as international trade. Mr. Sim was a recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award (Industrial Products) in 2008, was a member of the Entrepreneurship Review Committee Singapore 2013 and was a Director of SPRING, Singapore.
Mr. Sim is a Fellow Life Member of CPA Australia and a Fellow of Singapore Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Tony Tan is the Non-Executive Chairman of Singapore Medical Group and is responsible for providing leadership to the Board of Directors of the Group and overall strategic guidance. Mr. Tan is the Chairman of Island Hospital Holdings and is the Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of IGB Corporation Bhd since 15 July 2003.
Mr. Tan has vast experience in the healthcare industry. He was the founder and former Managing Director of Parkway Holdings Ltd, Singapore until 2000 and Deputy Chairman until his retirement in 2005. During his service, he initiated acquisitions and development by Parkway Holdings Ltd both in Singapore and overseas to build its healthcare franchise from initially a property developer to one of the largest private healthcare providers in Asia.
Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey, England and a Master's in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley, United States.

Professor Lui Pao Chuen is currently an advisor to the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister's Office and to six other Ministries. He is a consultant to Ministry of Defense, Singapore (MINDEF). He is a member of the board of trustees of Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He has retired in 2008 and last served as the Chief Defence Strategist in MINDEF.

Mr. Sim is an experienced corporate and operations leader with the Zicom Group. His corporate responsibilities include banking relationships, treasury management, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and fund raising. Operationally, he has led group-wide implementations of the ISO Quality Management Systems and also Enterprise Resource Planning Systems to optimize business performance.
Mr. Sim graduated with a Bachelor in Industrial and Operations Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Masters in Financial Engineering from Columbia University, New York.

Mr. Jen Kwong Hwa is currently a Venture Partner at Get2Volume Accelerator and member of SIM Governing Council.
Mr. Jen was the Managing Director of Micron Semiconductors in Singapore and an engineer by training. He was a board member of Ascendas. He has extensive experience in the technology management and business operations and is currently involved in start-up investment and advisory. He has been an active contributor and helped shape national strategic initiatives through his board membership in various statutory boards such as Energy Market Authority, Jurong Town Council and Economic Strategy Committee.

Professor Lawrence Ho is the Chief Medical Officer, co-founder and non-executive director of Endofotonics. He is the Senior Consultant, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, National University Hospital. He is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is an accomplished endoscopist who has been invited to perform live case demonstrations in multiple international endoscopy workshops. He chairs the Asian Endoscopic Ultrasound Group, which is a platform for leading experts in Asia. He is the Director for NUHS Centre for Innovation in Healthcare, which is a hub that facilitates and drives clinical adoption of healthcare innovations. He was the President of Gastroenterological Society in Singapore from 2005 to 2006.
Professor Ho has has published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers, more than 15 book chapters, co-edited 4 books, and held 9 granted patents in translational products. He has received the President’s Technology Award, the highest honor best owed on exceptional research scientists and engineers in Singapore.
